Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in December 1994, with emphasis in Structural Engineering.

Working towards a Master of Engineering from the University of New Orleans with emphasis in Civil Engineering. Expected graduation Spring 2012.

PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE

Registered Professional Engineer (Structural I) since July 2001 in the States of Louisiana (Serial #30108) and Texas (Serial #88434).

Certified in Structural Engineering by the Structural Engineering Certification Board (SECB).

2001 - Present   Avegno, Bailey, & Associates, Inc.  / Kyle Associates L.L.C. 

Principal Engineer / President- In responsible charge of the preparation of design calculations and construction documents, writing specifications, and preparing engineering reports. Perform construction administration, make site reviews, review shop drawings and reports. Supervise and schedule work for junior engineers, drafters, and office staff. Provide planning and coordination with architects and clients. Solicit new work for the firm and prepare fee estimates and contracts.

Design Engineer – Responsible for design calculations and preparation of construction drawings for commercial, residential, and institutional structures.

                        Performed site reviews, reviewed shop drawings and reports.

1991 - 1994       Self employed in Construction Industry while in college 

                        Experience in residential construction, repair, and maintenance.
